Making AP (Wireless Access Point)

Equipment necessary :
1. CPU and Motherboard
Advanced 4th generation(core frequency 100 MHz or more) 5th
generation(Intel Pentium, Cyrix6X86, AMDK5 or comparable) Newer
uniprocessor Intel IA-32(i386) compatible

2. RAM
Minimum 64M, maximum 1G, 64M or more recommended

3. HardDrive/Flash
Standard ATA/IDE interface controller and drive with minimum of 64Mb
space

4. Mikrotik Router OS Level 6 version 2.6.27

5. PSU Unit

6. Waterproof box

7. Cabel UTP 15 meter

8. PCI to MiniPCI Interface

9. Atheros MiniPCI A+B+G 65mWatt

10. Lan Card 1 pc

11. Network Insulator

12. Pigtail

Making way :
CPU, hard drive, RAM, LAN Card and motherboard assembled and tested
is going well
Then install the Atheros Wireless MiniPCI Interface. and
plug on the motherboard
Install Mikrotik 2.9.27 via CD-ROM, and make sure the interface
wirelessnya detected
Box is then ready for use ...

PCI to MiniPCI Interface

Atheros MiniPCI 1

Option 1 :
Make POE interface to connect to the existing PSU
under the existing motherboard above:
PSU ---> UTP Cable ---> LAN CARD + MOTHERBOARD + HARDDISK

Cable used for network cards only need 4 wires
(4 cables so we can use the rest to a current of DC
from below and above)

POE under

Above POE

Option 2 (not recommended) :
AC ELECTRIC POWER PULL to the tower as the source voltage
